Definition and strcture

The melt filter element is a stainless steel filter cartridge produced through processes such as crimping, welding, surface treatment, testing, and final inspection, using filtration raw materials like stainless steel mesh. It is designed to withstand high temperatures, resist corrosion, offer superior filtration efficiency, and enjoy a long service life. Typically constructed from metal filtration materials like stainless steel fiber sintered felt, iron-chromium-aluminum fiber felt, nickel fiber felt, special stainless steel mesh, five-layer sintered stainless steel mesh, and seven-layer sintered stainless steel mesh, it is fully metallic and welded with argon arc welding. These filter elements can be fabricated into cylindrical or pleated cylindrical structures, with the pleated version offering 3 to 5 times the filtration area of a cylindrical one.

 

Technical Characteristics

 

  • High Temperature and Pressure Resistance: The melt filter element operates stably under high temperature and pressure conditions, with a typical working temperature range of -60°C to 500°C, and even higher for certain specialized models. The maximum differential pressure it can withstand reaches 2MPa or more, depending on the model and material.
  • Corrosion Resistance: Made from corrosion-resistant materials like stainless steel, it can withstand the attack of various chemicals, ensuring stable filtration performance even in harsh environments.
  • Excellent Filtration Performance: Characterized by excellent air permeability, high dirt-holding capacity, strength, and good sealing, the filter element effectively blocks particles, fibers, black spots, bubbles, and other impurities, thereby enhancing product yield.
  • Reusability: The filter element can be cleaned, regenerated, and reused, reducing operational costs and minimizing environmental impact.
