Composition and working principle of condensing high efficiency filter
3.1 Composition of condensating high-efficiency filter
The filter element of the condenser filter is composed of three parts: the filter layer, the upper and lower end cover and the "O" sealing ring, among which the filter layer is composed of six layers, and the appearance is shown in the figure.
a) The first layer (red) : sponge with PVC coating, strong corrosion resistance. Filter can form a wet belt, the main role is to filter down the condensation liquid smoothly discharged to the bottom of the filter.
b) The second layer and the sixth layer: stainless steel mesh, under the premise of ensuring sufficient circulation area, so that the filter element can withstand a large pressure drop.
c) the third layer and the fifth layer: non-woven fabric, fixed filter material does not slide relative to each other, and has the effect of intercepting coarse particles.
d) The fourth layer: filter material, filter element is made of imported special borosilicate fiber, with the characteristics of large "void rate", strong "hydrophobicity" and stable quality.
There is an "O" seal ring on the upper cover of the filter element, which can achieve a good seal when the filter element is connected with the housing. The upper and lower end covers are bonded together with the filter layer with epoxy resin to ensure no side leakage. There are inner screw holes on the lower end cover, which can be closely connected with the screw of the shell.
The working principle of condenser high efficiency filter
When the filter is filtered, the compressed air first enters the middle of the filter element and diffuses around it. After filtering by the filter element, it enters the gap between the filter element and the shell, and then discharges downstream through the filter outlet. The solid suspended matter in the compressed air is captured by the filter element (fiber) and remains inside. The liquid (such as condensed water, oil mist, etc.) is captured by the filter element (fiber) and flows to the low part of the filter element due to its gravity, through the "wet zone" of the sponge (in the "wet zone" there is no air flow due to the large pressure drop, so it is called the "quiet zone" and flows to the bottom of the filter shell. It is drained to the outside by automatic drainer.
3.2 Working principle of condenser high efficiency filter
Overall design: preventing leakage inside the filter is a technical difficulty in filter manufacturing. The filter element uses epoxy resin to glue the corrosion resistant upper and lower end covers to the filter layer. To prevent air leakage, at the same time, the upper and lower end covers are made of anticorrosive materials. There is a fixed screw hole in the lower cover, which can be easily and reliably connected with the filter housing.
Good hydrophobicity of the filter material: the filter material of the filter element is made of specially treated borosilicate glass microfibers, whose oil and water resistance is higher than that of the general glass fiber, and the dust capacity of the filter element of the same size is large and the pressure drop is small.
