What Is Expanded Filter Material?
A: Expanded filter material is a specialized filtration material made of glass fiber expanded yarn fabric, processed with chemical treatments (e.g., PTFE, silicone oil, or acid-resistant agents). It comes in variants (HWTF-FI, HWTF-P) to suit different flue gas treatment needs, offering properties like high air permeability, wear resistance, and targeted chemical resistance for industrial dust removal.

HWTF-FI Type Expanded Filter Material
Material & Process: Adopts glass fiber bulky yarn fabric, with polytetrafluoroethylene and silicone oil as main raw materials, undergoing special chemical treatment.
Advantages: Appears golden yellow, with a fluffy surface and hard texture. It has good wear resistance, folding resistance, and hydrophobicity, large air permeability, easy dust removal, and good anti-condensation properties-ideal for large-scale flue gas treatment.
HWTF-P Type Expanded Filter Material
Material & Process: Belongs to acid-resistant expanded filter material, made of glass fiber expanded yarn grey fabric after special chemical treatment.
Advantages: Appears black, with a fluffy surface and soft texture. It has excellent acid resistance, large air permeability, and good electrical conductivity-suitable for flue gas filtration in highly acidic environments.

It is widely used in industrial flue gas dust removal:
HWTF-FI: General flue gas treatment with requirements for hydrophobicity and anti-condensation.
HWTF-P: Flue gas filtration in highly acidic environments (e.g., chemical industries with acidic pollutants).
