What Is A RFA Series Tank Mounted Direct Return Line Filter?

 

A: RFA series direct return oil filter is installed on the top of hydraulic oil tanks, used for fine filtration of return oil in hydraulic systems. It intercepts metal abrasive particles from component wear, rubber debris from sealing elements and other pollutants to keep circulating oil clean.

1. Compact Tank-top Installation, Simplified Pipeline

Mounted directly on the oil tank cover plate, filter head exposed outside the tank, return cylinder immersed in oil. Inlet supports tubular and flange connection types, eliminating redundant pipeline fittings to make system layout neater and installation faster.

2. Clogging Alarm Transmitter + Emergency Bypass Valve

When filter clogging or low oil temperature/flow fluctuation causes inlet pressure to reach 0.35MPa, the pollution transmitter triggers an alarm signal to remind users to replace filter elements or adjust oil temperature promptly.

If equipment cannot stop running for maintenance, the bottom bypass valve automatically opens at 0.4MPa opening pressure, to protect the filter and entire hydraulic system from overload damage.

3. User-friendly Direct Return Design for Maintenance & Oil Filling

Only unscrew the top filter cover to complete filter element replacement or refuel the tank conveniently. Two M18×1.5 auxiliary oil ports are reserved on the filter head, available for mounting transmitters or diverting small-volume system return oil for secondary filtration.

4. High-performance Glass Fiber Filter Cartridge

Advantages: High absolute filtration precision, large dirt holding capacity, big flow throughput, low initial pressure drop.

Standard filtration ratios: β3, β5, β10, β20>100

Filtration efficiency ≥99%, fully compliant with international ISO filtration standards.
