I. Working Principle

The Stacked Pressure Filter combines surface filtration with deep filtration through tightly compressed plastic discs. Its core component is the disc stack, composed of a set of polypropylene discs with grooves on both sides facing different directions. When adjacent discs are stacked, the groove edges on their adjacent surfaces form intersections, creating numerous cavities and irregular pathways. During filtration, water flows through these pathways, generating turbulence that traps impurities at the intersections, achieving the filtration effect.

II. Structure and Characteristics

  • Compact Structure: The Stack Filter boasts a compact installation structure and small size, allowing it to be mounted directly beneath electromagnetic directional valves, saving valuable space.
  • High-Precision Filtration: The filter element employs imported glass fiber media, offering high filtration accuracy, strong oil permeability, low initial pressure drop, and large dirt-holding capacity. Its filtration performance is rated in terms of absolute filtration accuracy, with filtration ratios β3, β5, β10, β20 ≥ 200 and filtration efficiency η ≥ 99.5%.
  • Differential Pressure Transmitter: Equipped with a differential pressure transmitter, the filter sends a signal when the filter element becomes clogged, causing a pressure differential of 0.5MPa between the inlet and outlet, prompting for cleaning or replacement of the filter element to ensure system safety.
  • Backwash Function: Certain models feature an automatic backwash function. By reversing the water flow direction, hydraulic pressure pushes against springs, loosening the small pores between the discs. The combined effect of water flushing and centrifugal force from disc rotation then washes away solid particles trapped on the discs, regenerating the filter element.

  • Metallurgy: For filtration of hydraulic systems in steel rolling mills and continuous casting machines, as well as lubrication equipment.

  • Textiles: Purification and uniform filtration of polyester melts during drawing processes, protective filtration for air compressors, and oil and water removal from compressed gases.
