The manufacturing process of combined high-efficiency air filters is relatively complex and meticulous, with each step ensuring the filter's high-performance filtering capabilities and quality. Below is a detailed overview of the production process for combined high-efficiency air filters:

I. Preliminary Preparation

Material Selection: Choose appropriate frame materials based on customer requirements, such as galvanized steel (stainless steel) frames and aluminum alloy profiles. Concurrently, select suitable filter media like ultra-fine glass fiber filter paper.

Frame Fabrication: According to design specifications, perform pressing and bending operations on the frame to ensure accurate angles. Remove excess burrs, seal the joints, and apply adhesive sealant.

II. Filter Media Processing

Filter Paper Inspection: Before opening the packaging, check for any damage. Upon opening, inspect the filter paper for defects and verify the product quality inspection certificate. For high-quality filter papers like ultra-fine glass fiber, the inspection should be more meticulous.

Pleating & Insertion: Following design specifications, pleat the filter paper to form a specific pleated structure. For partitioned high-efficiency filters, integrate the filter paper with the partition during insertion; for non-partitioned filters, proceed directly with pleating.

III. Assembly & Sealing

Assembling Filter Elements: For combined high-efficiency filters, combine multiple non-partitioned filter elements into a W-shape or V-shape structure. These elements are installed into a galvanized steel or polypropylene plastic frame through specific methods.

Sealing: Use sealant or adhesive to fully seal the edges of the filter media and partitions to prevent lateral leakage. The sealing layer must cover all potential leak paths to ensure the filter's sealing performance.

IV. Post-Processing & Inspection

Cleaning & Shaping: After the sealant has cured, remove any excess sealant that has overflowed. Clean and reshape the filter by wiping the frame with anhydrous alcohol.

Applying Sealing Strips: Adhere black rubber sealing strips to the upstream face of the filter frame to further enhance sealing performance.

Sampling Inspection & Evaluation: Conduct sampling inspections on the completed combined high-efficiency filters, covering 14 evaluation items including efficiency, resistance, geometric dimensions, end face flatness, side panel flatness, and side panel unevenness. Among these, leak detection is crucial to ensuring the quality of high-efficiency filters.
