The present invention relates to an expanded glass fiber filter material, specifically an expanded glass fiber filter material used in the manufacturing of industrial flue gas filtration products, which is formed by impregnating a fluorine-containing material onto an expanded glass fiber base cloth and compounding a microporous polytetrafluoroethylene membrane on the surface of the base cloth.

 

Background Technology
The combination of glass fiber and fluorine-containing materials has emerged in recent years as a novel type of filter material. It fully exploits the respective performance advantages of inorganic glass fiber and organic fluorine, and is widely used in flue gas purification and material recovery in industries such as cement, kilns, flour, pigments, and waste incineration.

 

The E-glass expanded fiber gauze membrane-coated filter material is a novel type of filter material made by laminating a multi-microporous polytetrafluoroethylene film onto a specially surface-treated glass fiber base cloth. It possesses excellent properties such as high strength, low elongation, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, smooth surface, water repellency, air permeability, and good chemical stability. It can almost retain all dust particles in the dust-laden airflow while ensuring maximum airflow throughput without increasing operational resistance, making it an ideal filter material for smoke and dust.

 

 

The medium-alkali expanded fiber membrane-coated filter cloth is also a novel type of filter material, similarly constructed by laminating a multi-microporous polytetrafluoroethylene film onto a specially surface-treated glass fiber base cloth. It shares the same outstanding characteristics of high strength, low elongation, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, smooth surface, water repellency, air permeability, and good chemical stability. It effectively retains nearly all dust particles in dust-laden airflows while maintaining maximum airflow throughput without increasing operational resistance, making it an ideal filter material for smoke filtration.
