Definition:

 PP melt-blown filter cartridges are made of ultra-fine polypropylene fibers thermally fused and entangled, featuring a unique three-dimensional microporous structure.

Manufacturing Process:

Polypropylene particles are heated and melted, then extruded through a spinning process to form ultra-fine fibers. These fibers randomly form a three-dimensional microporous structure in space, relying on self-adhesion and entanglement without the need for binders.

Performance Characteristics

•  High Filtration Efficiency: The filter cartridges have uniform pore size density, achieving a filtration efficiency of over 99%, suitable for various filtration requirements of different precisions.

 

• Strong Contaminant Holding Capacity: The inner layer of the filter's micropores is smaller while the outer layer is larger, increasing flow rate and contaminant holding capacity, reducing clogging, and extending service life.

 

• Low Resistance: During filtration, the resistance is low, and the filtration flow rate is high, reducing energy consumption.

 

• Chemical Resistance: Resistant to acids, alkalis, and organic solvents (except chlorosulfonic acid, concentrated nitric acid, and strong oxidants), exhibiting good chemical compatibility.

 

• High Strength: Resistant to deformation under high water pressure differences, maintaining stable filtration performance.

 

• Good Hydrophilicity: Modified polypropylene filter cartridges exhibit high hydrophilicity, able to absorb large amounts of water, suitable for oil-water separation.
