The correct installation of high-efficiency air outlets is crucial for ensuring their performance and extending their service life. Below is a detailed installation step-by-step guide:
I. Preparation Before Installation
Cleaning the Air Conditioning System: Before installing the high-efficiency air outlets, clean the air conditioning system and conduct a test run as per the specifications. After continuous operation for 12 to 24 hours (without load), clean and wipe down the clean room.
Checking Tools and Materials: Prepare the necessary tools and materials, such as screwdrivers, wrenches, cleaning cloths, sealant, rulers, level meters, etc.
Wearing Work Clothes: Workers should wear work clothes and shoes to prevent contamination of the air outlets and clean room.
II. Determining the Installation Location
Measurement and Positioning: Use a ruler and level meter to measure the walls or ceilings of the clean room and determine the installation location of the air outlets. Mark the center point of the air outlets according to the design requirements to ensure they are installed level and accurately positioned.
Marking and Cutting Holes: Mark and cut holes on the corresponding positions of the clean room ceiling based on the dimensions of the high-efficiency air outlet box. Typically, the size of the hole should be 10mm larger than the box in both length and width.
III. Installing the Air Outlet Frame and Box
Installing the Frame: Install the air outlet frame on the walls or ceilings of the clean room according to the size of the air outlet. The frame should be firm and reliable to ensure the air outlet does not wobble or fall off after installation.
Installing the Box: Lift the box into the hole in the ceiling, attach lifting ears, and fix it with threaded rods or hooks above the ceiling. Adjust the height of the box so that the flange at the bottom edge aligns with the ceiling.
Sealing: Ensure that sealant is applied to the joint between the flange at the bottom edge of the box and the clean room ceiling to prevent gas leakage within the clean room. If insulation cotton is laid for the high-efficiency air outlet and the box is insulated above the ceiling, filling material should be added to the gap between the box and the ceiling to prevent condensation on the box.
IV. Connecting the Air Duct and Installing the Filter
Connecting the Air Duct: Connect the air duct to the air inlet interface of the box. If a square external flange interface is used, drill holes along the external flange of the air inlet of the box and connect it to the flange of the air duct using bolts and nuts, filling sealing material in the connection area. If a circular air inlet interface is used, a circular hoop is needed to tighten the flexible air duct to the interface of the box. If the air inlet interface of the box is connected on the side, first connect and fix the air inlet interface to the box using self-tapping bolts or rivets.
Installing the Airflow Control Valve: If an airflow control valve is included in the order, it should be installed before connecting the air duct to the high-efficiency air outlet box. Connect the airflow control valve to the air inlet hole of the box using self-tapping bolts or rivets, fill sealing material in the connection area, and apply glue around it. Ensure that the valve hole aligns with the box hole during installation.
Installing the High-Efficiency Filter: During handling, unpacking, and installation, the filter should not be dropped or bumped, and workers are strictly prohibited from touching the filter media with their fingers or other objects. Before installing the high-efficiency filter, clean the box and conduct a pre-blowing treatment to avoid dust contamination of the filter and extend its service life. Rotate the filter pressing blocks inside the box to an angle parallel to the corresponding frame and install the filter centrally in the box (with the sealing gasket facing up and in contact with the box). Check if the torque of each pressing block nut is similar; if there is obvious looseness or tightness, adjustments should be made to prevent leakage at the filter frame.
V. Installing the Diffuser Plate and Conducting Debugging
Cleaning the Diffuser Plate: Since the diffuser plate is not cleaned before leaving the factory, it should be washed with detergent water to remove oil and dust before installation. Rinse it with tap water and wipe away any remaining moisture with a dry cloth that does not shed fibers. Store it in a clean environment for later use.
Installing the Diffuser Plate: Cover the box with the diffuser plate and connect it to the box using flat-head bolts. When installing the diffuser plate, it is best to align it with the high-efficiency filter to ensure consistent gaps around it and avoid overtightening the bolts.
Debugging and Testing: After installation, conduct debugging and testing of the air outlets. Turn on the air supply system and observe if the air outlets are working properly and if the air supply direction meets the design requirements. At the same time, use detection instruments to test the air cleanliness in the clean room to ensure that the air outlets meet the requirements of the clean room.
VI. Installation Precautions
Keeping Clean: During installation, maintain the cleanliness of the clean room to prevent pollutants such as dust from entering.
Accurate Positioning: Ensure the installation location of the air outlets is accurate to avoid affecting the airflow organization in the clean room.
Proper Sealing: Ensure proper sealing treatment to prevent gaps between the air outlets, frames, and air ducts.
Safe Operation: During installation, pay attention to safe operation to avoid accidents.
By following the above steps and precautions, the high-efficiency air outlets can be installed correctly, thereby enabling them to exert their intended purification effect.
