The steps for installing an oil suction filter are as follows:
Preparation: Ensure that the equipment has been shut down and relevant valves are closed to ensure operational safety. Meanwhile, prepare suitable installation tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, etc., and a clean work area.
Removing the old filter: If there is an existing oil suction filter, first use tools to loosen its connecting threads, then carefully remove and dispose of it properly.
Inspecting and preparing the new filter: Open the packaging of the new oil suction filter and ensure it is not damaged. Check the integrity of the sealing ring and confirm the installation direction according to the arrow indication on the filter element.
Installing the new filter: Gently insert the new filter into the mounting seat, hand-tighten it, and ensure it is in full contact with the mounting seat without looseness or wobbling. Avoid overtightening to prevent damage.
Connecting piping: Use appropriate tools to match the connecting threads of the oil suction piping with the filter and ensure the connection is tight to prevent oil leaks.
Inspection and testing: After installation, check for leaks at the filter element and piping connections and ensure the sealing ring is normal, with no damage or misalignment. Before restarting the equipment, clean the filter element and oil suction piping and remove any air bubbles. Test if the equipment is operating normally and observe the working state of the filter.
